George Taylor was a hotel manager in South Lordsville at the Bayou Hotel.
History
Circa 1946, George Taylor was murdered by his nephew Macy, who was one of three people that were trying to get to his hidden fortune, which was hidden somewhere on the property of the hotel.
Whenever anyone tried lodging at that hotel, the three of them would try to scare them away. Col. Brand was one of the three, and he dressed up like a ghost of George Taylor, trying to scare people away, telling them that he died by falling in a river. And they were constantly trying to kill each other in order to have all of the money for themselves.
Around 1953, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen were on a fishing trip and they stayed at that hotel, despite being warned that their stay would be most uncomfortable.
After Perry and Jimmy take note that something fishy is going on in this hotel, they snoop around and find the dead body of George Taylor in a secret room with a ramp leading down into it. Macy and Brand tried to kill them, but they here Elsa screaming from above and they quickly go check it out.
Jimmy and Perry quickly come to and rush back to their rooms to quickly pack and get out before they come back after them again, but they are confronted by Elsa, the one screaming earlier that is in a wheelchair. She points the gun at them and tells them if she helps them get the money, she'll tell them where it is and let them have half of it.
She takes them back to the secret room with the ramp, and tells them it's behind a boulder against the wall. They descend the ramp and try moving the boulder but are confronted by Macy, who rolls Elsa's wheelchair down the ramp. He then traps Perry and Jimmy behind the boulder. But Superman arrives and rescues them. As the police come in to fetch the three crooks, Elsa screams "No one got the money! No one got the money!"
