George W. Bush is the 43rd President of the United States. His predecessor was Bill Clinton and his successor was Barack Obama. His father was George H. W. Bush, the 41st President.

George Bush was President when Darkseid sent his army of Parademons to invade the Earth. Darkseid was stopped by seven heroes who later began calling themselves the Justice League. In the aftermath of this war, Bush officially congratulated these heroes in a large public ceremony, and gave them a government sanction.[1]

- Unlike every other modern President, George W. Bush did not appear as part of the DC Universe during his time in office. The DC Universe portrayed several other fictional Presidents during this time, including Lex Luthor, Pete Ross, Jonathan Horne, and Martin Suarez. It seems that the Bush presidency never happened in that continuity . His predecessor Bill Clinton and his successor Barack Obama did both appear. Bush only appears later when the DCU is rebooted by The New 52.
