Gerta von Gunther was the daughter of Baroness Paula von Gunther.
History
Nazi agents kidnapped her to force the Baroness' participation in their schemes. Her rescue by Wonder Woman opened the path to her mother's atonement and redemption.
Following her rescue Gerta was raised on Paradise Island as an Amazonette, but was always prone to stubborn refusal to listen which was not reflected in other Amazon children. She created several dangerous experiments while disobeying her superiors, including Sharkeeta.

- This version of Gerta von Gunther, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–1986 crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the 2022-2023 crossover event Dark Crisis. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
