Synopsis for "The Haunted Lady of Death"
A military man named Sir Victor Goddard encounters a strange guest at a party. The stranger predicts that Goddard will die in a horrible airplane accident that very night. The stranger explains that his vision also included a brass buttoned coat and a female. Goddard dismisses the encounter but is visibly shaken. He then receives a cable gram that orders him to fly out to Tokyo that very night. A reporter asks to accompany Goddard on the flight to get an interview. Goddard agrees to have him ride along since the man is not connected to the military and would not be wearing a button up brass buttoned coat. They board the plane and Goddard confirms that they will have a male pilot and no female onboard. The plane eventually encounters bad weather and the pilot is forced to make an emergency landing. As the plane is descending the reporter finds that he had received the wrong coat from the butler at the party and the coat has brass button up buttons. The plane crashes on a hillside and Goddard lays dying wondering why there was no female onboard as the stranger had predicted. He then spots the name of the side of the plane. The plane is named “The Lady Anne”.
