As a result of the New 52 in 2011, the entire line of DC characters was relaunched, incorporating properties belonging to the company's imprints: Wildstorm, Milestone, and Vertigo. As such, elements of this character's history have been altered in some way from the previous incarnation. For a complete list of all versions of this character, see our disambiguation page. |
Ghr'll is a member of the Green Lantern Corps.
History

The DC Universe heavily changed its continuity following the events of Flashpoint in 2011. While most characters saw massive changes to their origins and history, the Green Lantern mythos was widely exempted from these changes. Green Lantern-related characters should be assumed to have the same history as before Flashpoint unless and until stories contradict them.
Ghr'll and his sector partner, Xylpth, were among the many Green Lanterns who were captured and replaced by Durlans. Durlans impersonated the Lanterns and used their rings to make the Corps look bad. They were eventually freed though Ghr'll was injured.[1] He and Xylpth were later brainwashed into serving Highfather.[2]
