The Giant Typewriter is a stereotypical oversized prop used occasionally by supervillains as a method of ridiculous deathtrap.
History
It is often used as sort of the poster-item for the gigantic props that were once so popular amongst villains (particularly members of Batman's rogues), and although it is rarely seen anymore, it is still referenced to jokingly by many, such as Green Arrow. Amusingly, nobody ever seems to question why they are in one when actually fighting around a giant typewriter. It is likewise unknown who's responsible for making these.
