The Giver is a mysterious member of the Unseen.
History
The Giver is a mysterious figure who saved Sideways when he accidentally fell through the rifts into dark matter dimension and stranded in her world. In order to save Derek's life, she transferred some of her power to the boy and sent him back to his world.[1] When her world began to die, as all worlds in the Dark Multiverse do, she was rescued by the mysterious Perrus the Benevolent, and joined his "Unseen"--a collection of misfits from dead worlds, all protected by Perrus, in exchange for feeding him their life-energy.[2]
It was revealed the reason why she saved Derek's life is because he's very similar to her late son.
