Dr. Gloria Marquez was an associate of Dr. Solano. She was involved in his scheme to destabilize Latin America. When Gloria and Dr. Solano attempted to escape from Wonder Woman, they were trapped in a cave and injured in an explosion. Gloria's body was repaired with machines, earning her the name "Dr. Cyber".

• This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Wonder Woman and its tie-in comic book series. As she was developed for the series, she is an original creation of the show. When the TV character appeared in the comic book continuation of the series, Wonder Woman '77 Meets the Bionic Woman Vol 1, her background was expanded to give her the alias of Doctor Cyber, a super-villain identity created by Dennis O'Neil and Mike Sekowsky, first appearing in Wonder Woman #179.
