The Gold Lantern is Kala Lour, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes with Filipino heritage and the Lantern Order of the Gold in the Post-Rebirth future. He was a blind schoolteacher when the Elders of Oa offered him as their ambassador for membership in the Legion, with a Gold Lantern Power Ring, a ring created by the Elders of Oa to be more powerful than the Green Lantern Power Rings, and act as the successor of the Green Lantern Corps. He wore a blindfold before becoming a Lantern, and after that he started to wear a golden mask covering his eyes entirely. Gold Lantern was created by Brian Michael Bendis, first appearing in Superman (Volume 5) #14 (2019).
Sir Zundernell is the Golden Lantern from Earth 15, the giant solitaire custodian of the Cosmic Grail hidden in his destroyed Earth. The loneliness of his job broke his spirit and he emited a signal asking for help, fearing an incoming crisis on the Multiverse. Green Lanterns from several Earths answered his call, but the diference of size was felt like an insult for him, who trapped them to use as warriors for his upcoming menace. Golden Lantern was created by Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp, first appearing in The Green Lantern #10 (2019).
