The Golden Eye is an artifact previously owned by Superman and Green Arrow's foe Effron the Sorcerer.
History
It was briefly stored in the Fortress of Solitude, until Superman learned of its mind control powers and asked Batman to destroy it.[1] However, the powerful gem had by that point been acquired by Gunther Jacoby.[2]
