- One of the underworld figures Johnny Battles interviews about the Court mentions a man named Ducard as a mysterious associate of the shadowy organization. In Gotham, it is eventually revealed that the Court of Owls was secretly controlled by Ra's al Ghul all along. The name Henri Ducard was previously used as an alias of Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins.
