Gotham Academy #13 is an issue of the series Gotham Academy (Volume 1) with a cover date of February, 2016. It was published on December 9, 2015.

Synopsis for "Robins vs. Zombies"

Silhouetted against the moon Tom Savini, a Robin, chases down his room-mate, Tancredi, who has stolen Gotham Academy donation funds. Tancredi is chased into a greenhouse where he is grabbed by a milky-white fist which rises from the dirt and the two boys flee as the monster climbs from his potted grave.

The following morning Headmaster Hammer delivers an assembly to inform the students that the two boys have been expelled and the funds returned - though his car remains absent still.[1] After dismissing them he asks Olive Silverlock to meet him in his office. While her friends remain outside waiting, Olive is asked to show potential new student Riko Sheridan (better known by her Robin moniker R-iko) around the campus as she samples it. Immediately Maps becomes jealous thinking that Riko is pushing her from her slot as Olive's best friend and new room-mate and runs away.

Olive finds Maps beneath the headless statue and reassures her that Maps is still her best friend and that Riko is only here temporarily. Reinvigorated Maps breaks out her plan to investigate the monster - she and Olive would lay down bait including assortments of brain-like foods such as walnuts and popcorn whilst the others man a trap to capture it, one they lay below the window of the man with the biggest brain, Kirk Langstrom.

While waiting for the monster to appear Maps and Olive spot Riko climbing out of a window in her Robin garb and invite her up to the roof to join them and they quickly receive word that the monster has been spotted near Langstrom. Maps runs toward the beast, startling it and giving Colton Rivera chance to spring the trap. The monster, however, quickly breaks free and escapes but the team alert Langstrom to the issue and they back-track to the greenhouse. Inside Langstrom explains that his new power lines may be the cause of the monster's resurrection but they are quickly ushered out by a security guard who, believing the group to be out of sight, makes bird calls to summon his Court of Owls masters.

Back in Langstrom's lab the group attempt to attract the monster with electricity which they do, but a brown-out leaves them all shocked as the monster stands before them. Finding the situation ridiculous Olive walks up to talk to the monster who identifies her as a "Silverlock" and calls himself "Efrem".

The following morning Headmaster Hammer allows Langstrom to keep the monster to study him (to Maps' delight) and Riko receives a phone-call from Duke Thomas, a fellow Robin, and Maps follows her. Fearing for her best friend Olive phones the police to arrest Riko and as Maps runs out to fight for her new friend's release she is stopped by a familiar voice hidden in a tree, Damian Wayne's who advises her to remain in the academy and tells her that he will be in contact soon and he'll need her help.
