Synopsis for "Unresolved, Part Three"

An officer named Merv, has a vacant stare on his face as he walks into work.

Marcus Driver and Josie MacDonald interrogate the two geeks implicated by Mad Hatter. They state they had met Hatter in junior high, but had nothing to do with the bombing. They tell them about a boarding school that belonged to Connie's mother.

Renée Montoya escorts Harvey Bullock to an interrogation room and Harvey says he took the fall on the Gordon case because Montoya was going to do something, and he'd rather take the fall.

Driver and Josie speak with Harvey as they feel he was holding out on them. He tells them Penguin was into gambling and he felt like since the Hatter was always working closely with Penguin he knew that Penguin was guilty. Driver and Josie feel like it's still a hunch.

Romy Chandler stops by Angie Molina's new book signing, and says she wants to speak about what happened with Nate Patton.[1]

Driver and Josie check out the boarding school and speak to Connie. Connie says that Hatter and the two geeks all knew each other in the computer club.

Driver wants to have another round with Hatter at Arkham Asylum, but when they arrive, Hatter is broken out by Merv. Hatter keeps telling him to go and find a way out and Merv just complies with his vacant stare. Driver tells officers to stand down, that someone else is controller Merv since Hatter doesn't have his hat. The police fire anyways winging Merv and Hatter. When Driver checks out Mervin's hat, he sees the Mad Hatter tag and knows someone else was controlling him.
