Synopsis for "Corrigan, Part Two"
Daria, Renée Montoya, and Crispus Allen and his family all get together for dinner. Renee tells Allen that she has inside information that his case will be cleared soon. Allen says he's concerned since Jim Corrigan was the lead tech. Renee becomes increasingly concerned as well.
In the locker room, Renee abruptly asks Josie MacDonald if she is sleeping with Corrigan. Josie is pissed at the gall for her to have asked the question and walks out. Esperanza stops by and tells Renee where Corrigan hangs out.
Renee heads to Finnigan's bar that evening. After exchanging some words with Corrigan, and showing no reaction to being called a "dyke" by other cops in the bar, they walk outside to settle things with their fists. Corrigan asks her if she wants to back out since she has broken ribs.[1] Renee makes quick work of Corrigan and threatens to keep going if he doesn't give up what happened to the missing bullet that is needed to clear Allen. Esperanza is waiting down the block and says he wants to know where the bullet is. He admits to let her go after Corrigan to get this information.
They head to the lady's house who Corrigan sold the bullet to. Esperanza and Renee find out she has hundreds of GCPD memorabilia. They say they need the bullet and trade her by giving her the last bullet that LaMonica ever shot.
Esperanza admits that he did Renee a favor for making up for his wrong-doings with her coming out and his investigations. Esperanza sacrificed his case against Corrigan due to letting Renee beat him up. He said it was worth it to save Allen and he owed her one.
