Synopsis for "Signal Fires"

Barbara Gordon managed to sneak into the GCPD Headquarters, take her dad's master key and was about to get inside the Evidence Vault when Selma Reesedale caught her by surprise. At first, Selma threatened Barbara as she thought it was an intruder, but after learning that it was the Commissioner's daughter, Selma offered Barbara to go with her inside the Evidence Vault. Inside, Selma explained that she had investigated the case and concluded that the responsible for the disappearance of men was someone that has been in touch with Mr. Freeze and she was sure that it was Batgirl. Barbara was surprised to hear that and Selma told her that even Commissioner Gordon had evidence that connected Batgirl to the crime. Barbara spotted a portrait in Mr. Freeze's locker and took it with her. Barbara also asked Selma about her "secret" and she told Barbara that the Commissioner was the only one who knew about it.

Later, Barbara activated the Bat-Signal to call her father's attention. It worked and soon, Gordon was in the rooftop wondering whi activated the signal. Barbara wanted to talk to him and then she mentioned Selma's conversation about Batgirl. Gordon admitted to have evidence against Batgirl but he also slipped the fact that he didn't knew Selma's secret. Barbara then knew what she must do and she attacked Gordon with a couple of Batarangs that caused Gordon to fall on top of the Bat-Signal.
