Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters was a three-issue limited series published from August-October of 1987. The series was issued in DC's squarebound prestige format and evolved the concept of the Green Arrow character into a more mature and modernized environment. With this series, Oliver Queen abandons his tradtional Trick Arrows, preferring instead more conventional archery equipment. He changes his costume and relocates from his regular stomping grounds in Star City, to Seattle, Washington. This limited series leads into the first Green Arrow ongoing comic series.
