Synopsis for "Godhead Act III, Part III: Storming the Gates"
Carol Ferris and Kyle Rayner wander powerless on Old Genesis. Metron startles them, and lets them know that they are still needed. He cannot help them directly, but points them towards an old Mother Box in the rubble, that will take them where they need to go.
Malhedron has changed his allegiance and Booms away to free his prisoners Guy Gardner and Simon Baz, leaving John Stewart and Saint Walker in New Genesis. They intend to find Kyle; but Kyle and Carol Boom into their hideout first and find them.
Comparing battle-notes; each has been aided by someone they thought loyal to Highfather. The reunion is cut short by the arrival of the Divine Guard. Kyle blunts their attack, hands the Divine Guards weapons out to his friends, and goes to attack Highfather. Kyle succeeds in destroying Highfather's Sceptre, and reclaims his ring, which is now powerless. Highfather is the Life Equation and Kyle, Carol, John Stewart and Saint Walker are seemingly blasted to atoms.
The Templar Guardians choose this moment of distraction to escape the Singularity Stockade...
