History
The Green Lantern Corps were captured by Brainiac who planned to use the lantern rings to fuel his shrink ray capable of shrinking planets into miniature size.[1]
Years later, the Green Lantern Corps captured Sinestro taking him to Oa and had the integration of a "new" member, the Power Ring. Before the Guardians of the Universe passed judgment on Sinestro, his villainous Legion of Doom allies rescued him from Oa.[2]
