Ch'p's lantern ring went missing ended up in the hands of Wonder Girl. Her will was powerful enough to utilize the ring. Once the ring's artificial intelligence was activated, the Guardians located it and sent Hal Jordan to retrieve it. Successful in his mission, he returned the ring to Ch'p.
