Synopsis for "I Think, Therefore"

Under the imminent threat of the Breakers, the Solarites need to bring the Green Lantern of the 20th Century to the 58th Century to help them. By mistake, they take Salakk, but they replace his memories with the "Pol Manning" identity, becoming the Solar Director. Iona Vane, having no memories of Hal Jordan, becomes "Pol Manning"'s lover.

Meanwhile, Ch'p and Ub'x use the combined powers of the Sucker Stick and the Power Ring to travel to the 58th Century and rescue Salakk. Upon arrival, they land amid the B'rk army, also called Breakers, who turn out to be evolved animals similar to their species, the H'lvenites. Ub'x realizes that they are the animals he successfully evolved in the 20th Century. These B'rks want the Solarites to give them a portion of land to live in, but the Solar Council won't accept their terms, thus starting a war between both factions. Ch'p learns the Salakk is the new Solar Director, so he goes there and tries to convince him to return to their time. Buy Salakk fights Ch'p, seeing him as a Breaker enemy. With the Sucker Stick, Ch'p and Ub'x restore Salakk's memories, and he decides to side with the Breakers to destroy the Solarites.
