Synopsis for "I Am!"
Having his memories back, Salakk confronts the Solar Council for brainwashing him and planting the "Pol Manning" identity in his mind. Salakk proposes to end the conflict between the Solarites and the Breakers, a species of evolved chipmunks similar to the H'lvenites. As both sides fail to reach an agreement, Salakk calls Hal Jordan, who previously posed as Solar Director, for help during this matter. Hal proposes both sides to give up something and settle in the middle ground, that is giving the B'rks their own planet. When it seems the matter is settled, Doctor Ub'x steps in to fight that decision, claiming that he created these H'lvenites when he evolved the animals in the 20th Century. He claims that with his help, they can defeat the Solarites on a full-scale war. Ch'p sides with Ub'x, much to Salakk's disappointment, but still wants to end the conflict without a war. Thus he suggests a duel, him and Ub'x against two of the Solarites. Hal and Salakk agree to duel them, and they easily defeat the H'lvenites. After the short battle, Jordan insists that the Council give the H'lvenites one of the 36 worlds they govern in order to ensure peace within the Federation, and they finally come to terms. When the Green Lanterns are about to return to the 20th Century, Salakk decides to stay with Iona Vane, who still her mind set in loving "Pol Manning." Doctor Ub'x also stays in the 58th Century, living among the H'lvenites he created.
Back at the Green Lantern Citadel, Ch'p decides to return to H'lven and try to come to terms with the Post-Crisis version of his people.
