Synopsis for "The Man Who Murdered Green Lantern!"

Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Air Wave fight a costumed hijacking gang at Coast City Airport. Green Lantern arrives late to lend a hand and put an end to the crooks. Afterward, he explains what kept his attention from coming earlier.

An emergency call from the Guardians commanded him to proceed to Ungara, the planet of his predecessor, Abin Sur, to avert a disaster. On his way, he sees a yellow meteor heading towards Ungara. He arrives at the planet and presents before the rulers, but they think Hal Jordan killed Abin Sur since he's wearing his suit and ring. Hal tries to explain that there's a comet coming, but they ignore him as a lier, claiming their radars haven't picked anything. While they lynch the supposed killer, the comet becomes visible. They understand they misjudge Green Lantern, and they let him help. Hal then uses the moon as a billiard ball and diverts the comet. The Ungarans offer an apology to Green Lantern, and they let him explain how did he become Abin Sur's successor. Before leaving, Hal creates a statue in honor of Abin Sur.
