Hal switches to Green Lantern and saves the truck encasing it in a force field. Moments later, the Crumbler uses his powers to cause a tree to fall onto Green Lantern, causing a head injury, and then.
Black Canary and Green Arrow hear of the accident, head there to investigate. At he scene, they meet Alexander Percy Tuttle, who informs them they are building a vacation village. While Canary talks to the construction crew, Arrow goes to the hospital to see Lantern. Outside, Arrow spots the Crumbler and attacks him, but the foe escapes, so Arrow decides to return to the construction site. However, at that instant, Green Lantern wakes up and tries to warn them that the force field around his truck might vanish at any moment, causing a disaster. But he's too weak, and he keeps falling unconscious.
At the construction site, Canary hears rumors that Tuttle's company is going bankrupt. Tuttle appears and sends his men to get the heroes out of his property. When the Crumbler is about to attack them, a woozy Green Lantern appears and warns everyone that the force field around the tanker is about to fade.
