- I've lost count... have you saved my life the most or have I saved yours the most?
Green Lantern (Volume 2) #120 is an issue of the series Green Lantern (Volume 2) with a cover date of September, 1979.
Synopsis for "Double Danger, Certain Death!"
A hurricane on the coast of Florida unearths the coffin of El Espectro, a Spanish soldier who found the Fountain of Youth and was buried alive 466 years ago. The apparition of El Espectro terrorizes a man who, running away, almost gets hit by Hal Jordan's truck. Green Lantern saves the man and keeps him safe inside the back of his vehicle, while he screams about "the ghost" he saw.
El Espectro ends up in a cafe where he confronts Oliver and Dinah, easily beating them as if nothing could even scratch him. Not only is he immortal, but he also has superhuman strength and speed. Green Lantern arrives in time to save Oliver from a falling tree, and El Espectro escapes again.
The trio of heroes decide to split, and Green Arrow and Black Canary find the strange soldier in a boat shed, terrorizing its occupants. Again, not even Oliver's trick arrows or Black Canary's fight skills can keep up with El Espectro. Meanwhile, Green Lantern sees a tidal wave coming, and he flies to the shore to help Arrow and Black Canary. El Espectro prevails over Green Lantern's power thanks to his golden sword that cuts through Lantern's constructs. However, Green Lantern protects himself from the sudden tidal wave, and the water drags El Espectro away.
After saving Green Arrow and Black Canary from the water and the flood dissipates, the heroes find El Espectro has escaped, leaving his armor behind.
