Synopsis for "Peril Pact!"
After sealing the Qward gate, Green Lantern takes the kid Fabian to the pier, looking for his uncle. There, Green Lantern encounters his old foe, The Shark, who, using a Qwardian weapon, encases Hal in a golden cage and sinks it in the ocean. When the coffin reaches the bottom, it breaks due to the pressure of the water, releasing Green Lantern. He then follows Shark to the Qwardian base on Earth, who double-crosses him, devolving him to his original shark form.
With the Shark back on the water, Green Lantern confronts the Qwardians, who prepare a teleportation device to invade Oa. In Oa, the Weaponers chain the Guardians to the Central Power Battery, planning to combine their powers to create the greatest weapon. With the Qwardians stationed on Earth defeated, Green Lantern crosses the teleportation device, and he ends trapped inside the Central Power Battery.
