Synopsis for "Battleground: Oa!"

The invasion of the Qwardians on Oa progresses, with the Guardians and Hal Jordan still trapped inside the Central Power Battery. Unable to use his ring to escape, the Guardians use Hal's body and ring as a way to transmit an alert to every Green Lantern throughout the galaxy. Several Lanterns respond to the command, but many die against the Weaponers of Qward.

Meanwhile, Sinestro confronts the Weaponers and demands them to put him in command, but they reveal that they were using Sinestro, and they would never be under his authority.

Outside, the approaching Green Lanterns get trapped inside a whirlwind of yellow energy, but one manages to slip through and get closer to the Central Battery. This Lantern dies, but with his last effort, he touches the battery with his ring. Hal does the same from the inside and breaks free. He takes the ring from his fallen comrade and fights his way against the Weaponers. Suddenly, Sinestro shows up to help him in a temporary truce against the forces of Qward. Together, they free the Green Lanterns captured in the whirlwind and eventually defeat all the invading forces.

With the invasion stopped, the remaining Green Lanterns mourn their fallen soldiers.
