Green Lantern (Volume 2) #138 is an issue of the series Green Lantern (Volume 2) with a cover date of March, 1981.

Synopsis for "Total Eclipso!"

Green Lantern confronts Eclipso at Bruce Gordon's apartment and saves Tom Kalmaku. After seemingly defeating the foe, Gordon explains to Green Lantern how he became Eclipso after a witch doctor in Diablo Island cut him with a black stone, a rock which he later obtained. Since that day, his personality split in two, and he tried his best to keep the evil side of Eclipso at bay.

After checking Tom at the hospital, Green Lantern follows the trail of the lost Carol Ferris. The ring takes him to an island where he finds pictures and statues of the Ferris, all of them ripped or destroyed. He also finds a journal, which leads him to Ferris Aircraft.

Meanwhile, Gordon falls into a hypnotic trance triggered by his wristwatch, which Eclipso rigged. The sleepwalking doctor goes to Ferris Aircraft, where he becomes his dark, evil persona once again. He shoots a satellite to space, which takes the form of a moon and causes an eclipse. Green Lantern arrives at the scene and attempts to destroy Eclipso's "Murder Moon," but a beam of black light takes control of him and forces his evil side to arise.
