Synopsis for "The Lurkers in the Shadow"

Carl Ferris returns as head of Ferris Aircraft and warns the employees that there will be layoffs soon. Hal tries to find an alternate job, but his "fearless" profile doesn't convince the employers, and they don't want to take risks with him.

Hal and Carol decide to take a vacation, away from Ferris Aircraft, and travel to Canada. They reach a small town where they ask for a refuel, but the Constable asks them to leave. Suddenly, something trips an alert, and the people reveal themselves as a group of aliens called the Omega Men. Hal turns to Green Lantern, and the Omega Men attack him, convinced that he is working for some Hunters. Hal defends himself and Carol from their attacks, but they get outnumbered. The battle stops when Queen Kalista appears and demands the aliens to leave the humans alone. But one of them, Demonia, wants to get rid of the humans, comparing them to the "Citadel scum."
