Synopsis for "Macho!"

Hal Jordan finds himself in the Predator's lair in an abandoned theater, where he's sure he is smelling Carol's perfume in the room. Hal dismisses it, thinking it's the Predator playing with him. After looting around, he finds the same videotape Tawny Young showed John Stewart, and Hal reaches the same conclusion: that those events never happened, or at least he has no memories of that day. Looking for answers, he calls Tawny, Oliver, Dinah, and John, but they are all indisposed.

Hal then sneaks into John apartment, decided to reveal his identity as the previous Green Lantern and ask for his help on this case. However, Hal finds his home empty. Both John and Katma Tui are off-planet, investigating a planet possibly related to their recent memory loss. Reaching Sector 2813, they find Green Lantern Dalor, and they ask for his help.

Hal returns to Carol's beach house, and Hal is relieved to find out that she wasn't at the theater, or even heard about it. Hal shows the videotape to her, causing the same reaction on her. She then checks her date book to see if she has some record of that day, and she finds that they had dinner with Ollie and Dinah, just like they saw in the tape, They start to get worried about who is playing with their memories. Suddenly, the Predator crashes in through the window and kidnaps Carol, taking her to the theater.

Hal gears up with bulletproof body armor and follows them. There, he finds Carol strapped, and he fights the Predator. Hal gets the upper hand over him, but the Predator runs back towards the organ. Carol then realizes what this is all about, and warns Hal to not let him touch the keyboard. But her warnings come late, and the Predator activates the organ, with a blast of energy coming out of the instrument. Drawn by the energy, Carol comes off of her bonds and merges with the Predator, revealing the real person behind all this: Star Sapphire.
