Green Lantern (Volume 2) #192 is an issue of the series Green Lantern (Volume 2) with a cover date of September, 1985.
Synopsis for "First Star I See Tonight!"
After the shocking reveal of Carol Ferris merging with the Predator, Star Sapphire tells Hal Jordan her origins, and how this was her subconscious moving Carol's actions all along.
Sapphire relates way back to her first encounter with Green Lantern, saying that every time she returned to being Carol she lost all memories of it. This was mostly due to Carol's love for Earth and Green Lantern being too strong, and the Zamarons deemed her unworthy of being their queen, although they left the Star Sapphire Gem and her subconscious personality. Even after Hal revealed the truth to Carol of her double-identity, she used Zamaron's technology to wipe out her memories of being Star Sapphire and everyone else's about "Carol being Green Lantern's girlfriend," thus causing all the confusion with Tawny Young's tape. Later, when Hal went on his exile, Star Sapphire created the Predator persona from her masculine side (the side that focused on her job as Ferris Aircraft president). Afterward, Predator created Con-Trol and used Mr. Smith to extend his control over the company. This allowed Carol to live the life she wanted with Hal Jordan, until Sapphire used Carol's love to force Hal into quitting the Green Lantern Corps.
After Star Sapphire finishes her narration, Hal tries to reason with her, saying that she is being used by the Zamarons. Still, she ignores his claims and travels to Zamaron.
Green Lanterns John Stewart, Katma Tui, and Dalor arrive to Zamaron in time to witness Star Sapphire's coronation as the new queen.
