Green Lantern (Volume 2) with a cover date of December, 1960.
Synopsis for "The Amazing Theft of the Power Lamp!"
When Green Lantern travels back to the Ferris Aircraft Company after a mission, he swears he could have seen Hal Jordan slip by. To make things even more confusing, when he charges his power ring, Green Lantern finds himself transported into the middle of the desert. Rushing back to his dressing room he finds that his Power Battery is now missing.
Meanwhile, at the boarding house where Pieface lives, Pie is trying to fix the TV aerial for the landlady, however upon touching it he is jolted with the telepathic message of Qwardian spies that are on Earth that they had tricked Green Lantern into revealing the location of his Power Battery by tricking him into landing at a mirage of the Ferris Aircraft Comapany revealing the Battery's real location and allowing the Qwardians to steal the real one.
Pieface then informs the Green Lantern what happened. The Green Lantern then travels to the Negative Matter universe and to the world of Qward and battles the Qwardian army. When he finds that his Power Battery is sealed in a yellow dome, he finds a small flaw in the dome allows him to send ring energy into the dome and turn into a hammer smashing it from the inside out (the opposite side was not painted yellow) and liberate his power ring. Returning to the Positive Matter Universe, Green Lantern then rounds up the Qwardian spies living in Pieface's rooming house and turns them over to the police.

Synopsis for "The Leap Year Menace!"
Hal Jordan is summoned by Carol to her office at the Ferris Aircraft Company. Hal is hopeful that she might be starting to show a romantic interest in him but to his surprise, she announces her intent to propose to Green Lantern at a charity drive. She reasons that it is a Leap Year which gives females the right to propose to males. Carol feels this is her best chance of landing Green Lantern for herself. She then asks Hal for his opinion of her idea. Hal counters by saying that Green Lantern is too much of a celebrity to settle down and offers himself as a suitable mate but Carol is determined to follow through on her plan. The day of the charity drive arrives and the Lantern knows that Carol will try to corner him alone. A mob of Green Lantern fans then arrive at the scene and Green Lantern agrees to go with Carol on a walk to escape his legion of female fans. Carol begins to ask for his hand in marriage but Green Lantern then uses his ring to conjure up a huge green creature to distract Carol from her intent. Unfortunately Green Lantern is then struck on the back of the head by a motorized toy airplane and it renders him unconscious. In the meantime, the monster runs havoc in the city. The military is called out to neutralize the menace as it wrecks destruction. Green Lantern eventually comes to and flies off to dissolve the monster with his ring. Green Lantern is commended for "destroying" the creature (Which he feels bad accepting the praise since he created the "menace" to begin with, but keeps mum about the truth.) When Carol tries once more to propose to Green Lantern, his legion of fans show up all proposing to him as well. Green Lanterns sees this as an opportunity to turn everyone down and flies off leaving Carol behind.
