Synopsis for "Golden Years"
Jennie-Lynn Hayden wakes up in the middle of the night after having a bad dream involving her boyfriend Kyle Rayner. But there is somebody else in the appartment - its Green Arrow who wanted to talk to his friend Kyle. But Kyle is in space, so Connor tells Jennie that he thinks his father Oliver Queen might still be alive somehow. Then Jennie gets a phone call that her father Alan Scott just went up in flames and disappeared.
Accompanied by Green Arrow, Jennie flies to the warehouse where her father did store all JSA memorabilia. Indeed, Alan is there as well. He thinks his powers are consuming him and that he will die. He refuses to take any help and fights both Green Arrow and his daughter. But then Jennie uses her power ring to drain all powers out of her father who now looks like a man of his age again. Despite this, Alan Scott still possesses a power battery and intends to become Green Lantern again...
