Synopsis for "While Rome Burned, Part 2: Enters the Emperor"

Kyle Rayner is visiting John Stewart at St. Vincents Hospital and he is accompanied by Jade and Guy Gardner. Kyle feels bad for Fatality, but John's girlfriend Merayn has no sympathy at all for the woman who injured John. After leaving the hospital, Jade tries to cheer Kyle up and both have lunch together.

One month later, Kyle and Jade are an item again. This does not sit well with Kyle's young assistant Terry Berg. While Kyle meets with Terry at Radu's, Sentinel flies over New York City. Suddenly, Alan witnesses how huge yellow-colored dogs run rampant on Brooklyn Bridge. He is able to defeat them, but then a host of even more horrible creatures appears. Jade calls Kyle at Radu's and informs him about the incident which is already broadcasted on TV. Kyle excuses himself leaving behind a sad Terry.

When Kyle arrives at the Brooklyn Bridge, Sentinel already is in a bad shape. Kyle fights back just to be able to fly Sentinel out of harms way. But then he is greeted by the man who now is wearing the Yellow Lantern Ring of the Qwardians. Ironically, this man sees himself and his demonic creatures as the saviors of the world ...
