Synopsis for "Hand of God, Day Four"
The JLA is meeting at the Watchtower on the moon when Martian Manhunter picks up an anomaly in space. In fact, the anomaly is caused by a huge cloaked ship from the Crystal Invaders of Karalyx. But before the members of the JLA even have prepared themselves to face the alien invaders, Ion tells them that he already has transported the ship back to where it belongs. He also explains that he showcased them his immense power so that they probably will not try another invasion in the future.
Shortly after, Superman takes Kyle by his side. He has watched all of Ion's lately contributions to make Earth a better place to live on. Despite that he thinks that Kyle is overstepping some boundaries because he has become "too great of a force" in people's lives. Already after a few days of work cults are popping up all over the world worshipping Ion as some kind of god.
In the evening, Kyle meets with Alan Scott and talks with him about Superman's criticism. Alan can relate to Kyle as he also absorbed the power of a Green Lantern ring into himself. But Alan believes that Kyle will find the right balance which his colleagues will eventually approve. Kyle leaves Alan with the intention to finally meet his father ...
