Green Lantern (Volume 3) #52 is an issue of the series Green Lantern (Volume 3) with a cover date of June, 1994.
Synopsis for "Breaking In"
Mongul breaks out of the Slab, frees all the other inmates, and heads to L.A. to get revenge on Green Lantern. He finally finds his opponent at a beach, where Kyle and Alex are testing the capacities of Kyle's ring while Alex shoots some photos of him. Mongul attacks Kyle, unaware that he's not the same Green Lantern that previously defeated him. Still, the villain beats Kyle to the ground and stands ready to kill him, with only Alex standing in the way.
Meanwhile, a homeless man named Joshua gives a glowing green rock he found outside of a club in L.A. (the same alley where Kyle first got his ring) to a federal agency. When Joshua walks out of the office, the man he spoke to orders him killed.
