Synopsis for "Picnic"
Kyle and Donna take a picnic on Mars, while Darkseid watched them from Apokolips. He is interested in this last of the Green Lantern Corps, and sends Kalibak to confront and test Kyle Rayner to see if he will be a threat. Kalibak exceeds his orders and tries to steal Kyle's ring, hoping for Darkseid to approve. However, Kyle and Donna defeat Kalibak and his men. As Kalibak returns to Apokolips, Darkseid reprimands him for disobeying his orders.
Meanwhile, in the middle of nowhere, in the Nevada desert, Hal Jordan hitches a ride.
