Synopsis for "Light in Darkness"
After helping create an artificial sun in an attempt to lure away the Sun-Eater, Green Lantern returns to his apartment to recharge his ring. To Kyle's surprise, Doctor Light has emerged from the Green Lantern Power Battery, after having been trapped inside it years ago by Hal Jordan. Doctor Light demonstrates his new powers in a brief fight with Green Lantern, but Kyle chooses instead to beg for Light's help against the Sun-Eater. However, Doctor Light becomes frightened by the sight of the eclipsed sun and decides to evacuate Earth.
