Synopsis for "Adventures in Babysitting"
Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Alan Scott get together at Warriors, where Guy adds a statue in memory of Hal Jordan. They spend the whole night telling stories about Hal and then part ways.
On his way home, Kyle apprehends a pair of crooks assaulting a man over some emeralds. As a token of appreciation, the man gives Kyle a little diamond, which Kyle accepts, albeit reluctantly.
The next morning, Donna and her son Robert surprise Kyle at his apartment. Donna tells him that the judge allowed her to have more visitation rights with Robert but needs Kyle to look after him for a few hours. With Donna gone, Kyle takes Robert to the first place that comes to mind: the zoo.
At the zoo, Kyle reflects on how living without a father figure makes him feel unprepared to take care of a kid. Kyle lets Robert look for a stone to gift to his mother but loses sight of him. Kyle flies off as Green Lantern and searches for Robert until he finds him in the tiger's habitat looking for a stone. Kyle protects him from the tiger, but Roberts drops the stone. However, Kyle has a special stone they can give Donna.
Back at Kyle's place, Donna returns, and Robert gives him the emerald Kyle received from the man earlier that day.
Meanwhile, in Ranagar, the Darkstars finish rebuilding the city. Suddenly, a mysterious figure hunting Green Lanterns sneaks on Galius Zed and kills him.
