It's taken all my will to keep it in check. I don't think anyone realizes what that means... but I do. And now it's time to let that power go. Let it go forever...

Synopsis for "Starbreaker Supremacy, Part Five"
Sometime ago, Hal and John were eating at a diner and John was a bit disappointed that Hal beat him at paying the tab, to which Hal replies that John could pay next time if he saved the universe but until then, John owed Hal. As they exit the diner, the Green Lanterns take the time to observe the star-illuminated night sky and agree that, for all their hardships, fighting to protect life is a worthy honor. Hal admits that when the Guardians revealed John's existence to him, he felt jealous, but over time, he learned to trust his life to his friends and was inspired to keep doing the right thing, regardless of how hard it could be. The Lanterns suit up and take off into the sky, ready to face whatever challenges the universe throw at them.
In the present, the Interceptor races back to Oa. Razer has already sent a message asking the Justice League for help, but Jessica and Sinestro express doubt that their allies will reach Oa in time, an sentiment Jadestone agrees with. Kyle replies that, even though the emotional entities have been destroyed, the Starbreakers have lost their lantern and that has levelled the playing field. Shirley tells the Lanterns that she can feel that John is already working on a plan to help them.
At Oa, Shirley's feeling of safety proves valid as John has already come up with a plan to mount a defense against the Starbreakers. He tells Salaak to send a distress call to as many allies they can find while the rest of the available Lanterns gathered at the Central Power Batteries.
The Lanterns obey John's orders and go to the power batteries, while Keli and Ellie talk about how are they going to tell John that the only reason Keli can even use her gauntlet was because it was part of Krona's plan to return to power. Meanwhile, Krona, having possessed Simon's body, goes to another part of Oa and inserts the gauntlet in some kind of machine.
At the Sciencells, John tells Two Six to awaken everyone from cryo-sleep and then informs the prisoners about the Starbreakers' incoming attack on Oa. The Starbreakers are a threat to everyone in the universe, regardless of species or faction, which is why John has requested their help to fight on their behalf. John admits that letting them out is probably a mistake but the Green Lantern Corps is out of options, which is why he is giving everyone a chance to start over, and now, the prisoners have to choose. The prisoners choose to fight and John says that he will have to arm them.
As the Starbreakers start encroaching on the Interceptor, the Lanterns have gathered at the central batteries and John begins the next stage of his plan. Ellie and Keli try to warn John about Krona, but John replies that whatever they have to tell him, it will have to wait, for he has a confession of his own. He admits that that construct of Ellie and the voice in his ring are not really his family. They only exist because, even after all these years, John could not let them go and now, he can only hopes they get to live after what he is about to do. After his battle with Koyos, the Source gave John an incredible amount of power and it has taken John all of his willpower to control that power and keep it in check, but now, he has to let it out. John levitates in the Oan sky and gets enveloped in a white light which powers up the batteries and generates rings for everyone nearby.
John has seemingly vanished, but the formerly powerless Lanterns regain their power and restore their Corps. Ellie, saddened by her brother's disappearance, gets surprised when a Green Lantern ring attaches itself to her finger. The army of light is now ready to fight the Starbreakers.
