The Guardians of the Universe noticed Green Man's willpower after his defiance of the authoritarian rule of his homeworld, Uxor. As a member of the Green Lantern Corps, Green Man demonstrated his fighting prowess with great dedication and loyalty.

He was a member of Sinestro's strike team to destroy Parallax. He was killed by Parallax.
