Green Man was a Green Lantern who served as a member of the Alpha Lantern Corps.
History
The DC Universe heavily changed its continuity following the events of Flashpoint in 2011. While most characters saw massive changes to their origins and history, the Green Lantern mythos was widely exempted from these changes. Green Lantern-related characters should be assumed to have the same history as before Flashpoint unless and until stories contradict them.
Green Man was killed when the Alpha Lanterns ordered to execute their Lantern teammates. Varix had rejected the Guardians' brainwashing and killed his fellow Alpha Lantern members before taking his own life.[1]

- Green Man was created by Todd Klein and Dave Gibbons, first appearing in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #164. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Green Man first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Green Lantern Corps (Volume 3) #8 by Peter Tomasi and Fernando Pasarin.
