Greg Brooks was a former comic book artist, whose career was very short lived. Brooks worked for DC Comics on the late 80s and he is probably best known for his mini-series Crimson Avenger.
Personal History
Brooks was convicted of murdering his wife in 1988, after which his comic book career ended. The details of the incident were eventually published by Bob Rozakis.[1][2]
