- Extraño was created by Steve Englehart and Joe Staton, first appearing in Millennium #2. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Extraño first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Midnighter and Apollo #1 by Steve Orlando and Fernando Blanco.
