- Aviation: He is also capable of flying a Javelin into deep space.[1]
- Firearms: Vigilante has a knack for unloading his bullets at targets rather than precision shots. Despite this seeming like a wasteful tactic it insures that there's always one bullet that hits its mark.[2][1][3]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the DC Animated Universe and is an adaptation of Gregory Sanders/Vigilante. The original character was created by Mort Weisinger and Mort Meskin and first appeared in Action Comics #42.
- Vigilante was voiced by Michael Rosenbaum for the episode "Task Force X" and by Nathan Fillion for following appearances.
- Teamed up with a homage version of the Seven Soldiers of Victory (Green Arrow, Speedy, Shining Knight, Crimson Avenger, Stargirl, and S.T.R.I.P.E.) in the Justice League Unlimited episode "Patriot Act".

- Vigilante rode an Indian motorcycle. At least two were destroyed; one in battle with the Dark Heart and one against the General.
- A fan of Clint Eastwood movies, particularly the character of "Dirty Harry" Callahan.[citation needed]
