Synopsis for the 1st Story

Zaijian rescues Grifter from the rubble of Neo's business and reveals himself to be a member of an organization called Confucius, the Taiwanese counterpart to IO. He takes Cash to their headquarters and explains that they have been tracking Diabolik.  Cash reveals that Diabolik was trying to acquire a nuclear trigger from Neo.  Cash calls Savant for help tracking Diabolik's nuclear weapon, but she refuses. Meanwhile, Neo emerges from the wreckage of his building and attacks Diabolik for destroying his business, but the villain fends him off.  In Washington, D.C., Miles Craven orders an agent named Barnes to Japan in order to retrieve a retired operative.  Back in Taipei, Grifter and Zaijian review Diabolik's history as a U.S. military operative and track him to a local bank.  Grifter engages Diabolik in a running battle to the roof of the bank where the villain steals a newly landed helicopter and escapes.  In truth, Confucius provided the helicopter as part of Grifter's plan to track Diabolik to his base.  They pursue him to a small private island owned by a former British agent named Denning. Grifter and Zaijian sneak onto the island and find Diabolik about to launch the nuclear warhead.
