Synopsis for "Uncivil Union, Part Three"
Grifter and Midnighter fight through a swathe of oversized creatures in the streets of Paris. Zee watches from a rooftop overhead. She is impressed with Midnighter's skill, but also realizes that the alien combatants are even faster than Midnighter's neuro-enhanced speed. Fortunately, Grifter's weapons appear to cause significant damage to the aliens. The fight proves too overwhelming for Midnighter, and Grifter has to pull away from the danger.
The Authority track Midnighter's whereabouts and arrive in Paris to lend a hand. They discover the large crater and tunnel that birthed the alien monstrosities, but there is no sign of the Midnighter or Grifter present. Grifter meanwhile, pulls the Midnighter into a back alley and resets his jaw. Midnighter doesn't like the idea that Grifter saved his life and the two begin bickering.
