Guardian is an enforcer for S.T.A.R. Labs Advanced Ideas Division.
History
Much of Guardian's history is classified. He is known as "Michael", but whether this is his true name remains unknown. He was, at one point, a member of the United States Air Force before joining S.T.A.R. Labs Advanced Ideas Division as Guardian-01.[1]

- Guardian, a legacy name used by both black and white heroes in the past, has had his race inconsistently depicted in this incarnation. In his earliest appearances after the New 52 reboot, Michael, a new character, was African American but would later be drawn as Caucasian starting with Teen Titans Vol 5.
