Guile was the leader of one of the Leviathan factions 5 years ago.
History
He tried to start a family and retire from his underworld life. Knowing that Talia al Ghul wouldn't just let him get away, he hired Deathstroke as a bodyguard. However, Deathstroke fails to protect Guile and Silencer kills him and blows up his house in the battle, killing his family too.[1]
