Gunfire #0 is an issue of the series Gunfire (Volume 1) with a cover date of October, 1994.

Synopsis for "Forward Thrust!"

Gunfire broke through the door of one of Van Horn Industries' meeting rooms and demanded where to find Ragnarok. Guards arrived to confront him and opened fire, while Gunfire responded by shooting kinetic energy from a crowbar and using a snow globe as a grenade before jumping out of a window and entered a van driven by Ben. Ben informed Gunfire and Yvette that Van Horn Industries had secretly supplied Dominion with technology. Meanwhile, at a castle in upstate New York, Ragnarok was informed of the break into Utili/Tech at Van Horn Industries. The next morning, Lieutenant Rivera confronted Andrew about breaking into Van Horn Industries. Later, Gunfire jumped out of a helicopter into Ragnarok's castle to confront him, but was defeated and chained to a wall. Ragnarok revealed to Gunfire that he was, in fact, his father, whom he thought was dead, but was working to become immortal. Gunfire broke free and caused an explosion in the castle, before returning to the helicopter.

Notes

  • In October of 1994, all of the existing mainstream DC Comics titles released a special "0" issue to coincide with the Zero Hour crossover event. The purpose of the "0" issue was to reveal a previously unknown aspect of the title character's background. DC Titles under the Vertigo imprint were largely unaffected by Zero Hour and thus, no "0" issue specials were published for them.
