Guy Gardner: Warrior #25 is an issue of the series Guy Gardner: Warrior (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 1994.

Synopsis for "Family Ties"

After learning about Tora's death, Guy Gardner storms into her homeland in Norway and makes his way to the ice-made monument they made in her honor. There he meets Queen Olaff, Tora's mother, and they have an exchange of words before Guy returns to New York.

In New York, Guy visits his brother Mace and Heather, both in a comatose state. Heather is a friend who ended up in a coma after Guy caused a car accident years ago. Suddenly, a monster called Dementor comes out of Mace's body and invites Guy to join him, Mace and Heather in "Comaville." The monster disappears, and the Phantom Stranger presents himself before Guy, telling him that both Heather and Mace are in a possession coma, trapped by Dementor in another dimension.

The Stranger opens a portal and sends Guy to Dementor's hellish realm, where Guy fights the monster soon enough. Dementor, who shares the same Vuldarian blood as Guy, reveals that it was him who kept Guy captive during his previous comas. Dementor attempts to absorb Guy into his body, but Guy breaks free, blowing Dementor to pieces. Phantom Stranger opens the portal again and helps Guy escape the hellish realm.

Back in the hospital, Guy finds out that the Quorum broke into the hospital and took Mace as he woke up from the coma. After Guy reunites with Heather, Buck Wargo calls and tells Guy to visit his new Warriors Bar.
